Terms of Service
These terms apply to CS Concepts: the free learning site at learn.securemango.com and the members' deck at cs.securemango.com (together, "the service"). The service is run by Secure Mango, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. What the service is
CS Concepts explains cybersecurity topics with diagrams, written explanations and videos. The free site is open to everyone. The members' deck adds the full step-by-step slides, written explanations and revision notes for people who buy access.
2. Educational use only
The content is for learning. It is not professional, legal or security advice for your specific situation. We work to keep it accurate and current, but standards and exams change, so we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or up to date, and we do not guarantee that you will pass any exam.
3. Certifications and trademarks
CS Concepts is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by ISC2, ISACA, CompTIA, EC-Council, GIAC or any other certification body. Names such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, Security+, CySA+, CEH, CHFI and GCIH are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe which exams a topic helps you prepare for.
4. Your account
- You sign in with Google or with a one-time email link. Give accurate information and keep access to your email account secure.
- Each account is for one person. Do not share your access or let others use your account. Team access is available separately; contact us.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account.
5. Buying access
- Prices are shown before you pay. Taxes are added at checkout where required.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe or Paddle). When the provider acts as the merchant of record, its checkout terms also apply to the payment.
- A one-time purchase gives access to the members' deck for as long as we operate the service, including new topics and updates we add, unless a product description says otherwise.
- Refunds: if you are not satisfied, ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase and we will give one, no questions asked. Your access ends when the refund is processed. This does not reduce any rights you have under consumer law.
6. What you may and may not do
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the content for your own learning. You may not:
- copy, download in bulk, scrape, record, republish, resell or share the members' content, or publish it as your own;
- use the content to train or improve artificial intelligence models, or feed it into automated tools that redistribute it;
- bypass or test our access controls, or interfere with the service or other users;
- use the service for anything unlawful.
You may share links to free pages and to our YouTube videos.
7. Our content
All slides, diagrams, text, videos and other material are owned by Secure Mango, LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Embedded videos are hosted by YouTube and are also subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.
8. Suspension and ending access
We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing access or copying content. If we end access without a breach on your part, or if we stop operating the paid service within 12 months of your purchase, we will refund what you paid for that access. You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account.
9. Changes to the service and these terms
We may improve, change or remove content and features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the effective date and tell signed-in users before the change takes effect. If you continue to use the service after that, the new terms apply.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Secure Mango, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep any protections that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be waived.
